⚫ Localized Spot-Treatments: 1 to 4 Selected Teeth (Row 1, Left) — This highly targeted, conservative option is designed to correct isolated defects, such as a single chipped edge, a minor midline gap, or asymmetrical anatomy like a peg lateral.

Rather than worrying over arbitrary numbers, the most effective self-assessment is to look in a mirror and laugh or smile broadly and naturally. First, take note of exactly how many teeth are visible to an observer. Second, identify how many of those exposed teeth present characteristics (shade, shape, alignment) you are unhappy with.
As a clinical rule of thumb, teeth that are naturally displayed within your smile frame are candidates for treatment; posterior molar teeth that remain completely hidden behind the lips do not require cosmetic veneering.

Dental veneers are broadly categorized into composite resin veneers and porcelain/ceramic veneers. Ultra-thin veneers are a specialized subset of ceramic veneers.

Per the regulations of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China, only two material classifications are approved for all-ceramic veneers: glass-ceramics (lithium disilicate) and zirconia ceramics.
Based on Anyu's extensive clinical experience, international patients overwhelmingly favor glass-ceramics due to their natural multi-layered shading, superior translucency, and life-like aesthetics. However, for patients presenting with severe intrinsic discoloration—such as dental fluorosis or tetracycline staining—zirconia ceramics are highly recommended as they provide the exceptional opacity needed to completely mask a dark underlying tooth structure.
Note on Market Trends: While "artisanal master-layering ceramics" have recently emerged in the domestic Chinese market, we do not recommend them to our international clientele due to long-term compliance, regulatory standardization, and durability considerations.
