This aesthetic front tooth restoration was completed by Dr. Ao Danting, an implant specialist at Chengdu Anyu Dental Implant Hospital who earned her Ph.D. from the prestigious 8-Year Doctoral Program at the West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University.

The patient presented with a loose maxillary front tooth (incisor, B1/Tooth #8) resulting from sudden external trauma. In addition to mobility, the compromised tooth exhibited clinical elongation and spacing between the front teeth, causing aesthetic and functional concerns. Seeking a reliable, long-term solution that mimics the appearance of natural teeth while remaining easy to maintain, the patient underwent a single-stage procedure involving tooth extraction, immediate implant placement, and immediate temporary restoration led by Dr. Ao.

To minimize treatment duration and preserve the natural soft-tissue architecture, Dr. Ao selected an immediate implant therapy protocol:

• Atraumatic Extraction & Immediate Placement: The traumatized, loose incisor was gently extracted to preserve the surrounding alveolar bone and gingival margins. A precision dental implant was inserted into the fresh extraction socket during the same visit.
• Preservation of Bone and Gum Contour: Placing the implant immediately after extraction helped retain the original bone height and natural gum contour, which is vital for achieving an invisible blend in the smile zone.
• Same-Day Temporary Crown (Provisionalization): A custom temporary crown was delivered on the day of surgery.
